Coach — the 75-year-old handbag maker — is suddenly cool again!
Stuart Vevers, who was brought on as creative director of the 75-year-old American brand in 2013, has subtly and skillfully made over its image, and his efforts are paying off.
While maintaining its high standards for quality, the company is embracing a fresh design aesthetic of modern simplicity highlighted by just the right touch of whimsy.
Its newest products are still classic and wearable, yet also youthful and fun, a combination that is not easy to achieve.
A wonderful example of the new Coach style is available at the new San Francisco store — Apple Watch Bands! Not even available online, the Post Street location is one of the few places in the world you can have access to them (Priced at $150. Ask a Coach sales associate for more info.)
There is also a delightful new limited-edition collection of bags, sportswear, and sneakers inspired by Disney’s classic character, Mickey Mouse. Our favorite piece — a black leather jacket with Mickey’s studded silhouette on its back.
The Disney collection arrives in stores on June 17th, 2016.
Another reason to visit the new Coach store is to check out the Coach Craftsmanship Bar.
The first of its kind on the West Coast, the Craftsmanship Bar allows customers to experience a rich array of personalized leather services, including leather care and cleaning, monogramming, and repair services.
