The recent party celebrating the grand opening of Edition by Banana Republic was by far the most fun event we’ve been to at the Westfield San Francisco Centre, and made an amazing first impression for the new store.
Attendees were wowed by Edition’s stunning selection of accessories. Women were oohing and ahhing all over, thrilled to be the first to shop the new boutique. One customer remarked to us that “This is a store even a husband can love,” referring to the affordable prices for the limited edition accessory collections.
Guests included Hillary Newsom Callan, Lori Puccinelli Stern, Elizabeth Touw, Tatiana & Katya Sorokko, Kimberly Bakker, Karen Caldwell, Ann-Ferrell Millham, Melissa Barber, and many others.
Banana Republic President Jack Calhoun and Executive Vice President of Design Simon Kneen were on-hand to meet with guests and introduce the new brand concept.
“For our customers today, affordability is paramount and being fashionable is always in style. We are proud to offer San Francisco’s modern woman a one-stop destination of our best accessories,” said Jack.
“Especially in today’s economy, Edition is the perfect place for women to update their wardrobe with exquisite, limited edition and affordable accessories.”
Ouside the store, Edition welcomed their patrons with an “indoor” garden party complete with music from DJ Destro, VIP photograph area, and bar courtesy of Square One Organic Spirits.
Attendees sipped on the Edition Jade Gimlet, a specialty of Square One Cucumber, while enjoying hors d’oeuvres by Ladies Who Lunch. Chocolates were provided by The Cholive Company.
