Zendaya Coleman, Rodarte and More from Christine Suppes

Although E!’s Giuliana Rancic attacked actress Zendaya Coleman’s look at the Oscars, telling viewers of “Fashion Police” that Zendaya’s dreadlocks probably smelled like “patchouli oil… or maybe weed” (she later apologized for the remarks), it turns out that fashion critic Christine Suppes is a big fan.

Writing at “Little Missy Chronicles,” Suppes praised the 18-year old Zendaya, in a white Vivienne Westwood gown, and even went so far as to say she was the best dressed at the Academy Awards.

“The Disney star gets my vote for being outrageously beautiful and elegant. Her hair was truly a spectacular Hollywood moment!” she said. “Here’s to more moments like this one!”

A surprising selection, but we quite agree!

You can read more of Christine Suppes insights into the most recent collections — including her opinion of Rodarte’s fall 2015 show — at Little Missy Chronicles, and look for her new book, “Electric Fashion,” with photos by Frederic Aranda and foreword by Ken Downing, coming this spring!
