Warby Parker's First Permanent Store Opens in the West Coast

Warby Parker, the renowned online glasses brand, isn't exactly new to opening traditional stores in the West Coast. In fact, they already have a 50s-inspired newsstand in Los Angeles along with a shop-in-shop. However, the brand has just introduced its very first permanent store in the West Coast at The Standard Hollywood's lobby, where they are featuring sunglass and optical frames for both men and women. The prices here range between $95 and $150.

Aside from opening the store, Warby Parker also launched their Artists in Residence series, wherein new emerging musical artists are fostered with a four-day residency, so they can perform and produce new songs at a Standard Hotel. Their tunes will then be released on seven-inch records through Standard Sounds x Warby Parker before getting distributed this holiday season 2013 at various Warby Parker stores.
Some of the special guests present during the Warby Parker opening included Spike Jonze, Cory Kennedy, Zoe Cassavetes, Justin Kern and Mischa Barton.
