We recently had the opportunity to meet with Tristan Mace and Melanie Brandman, who were recently in San Francisco for the launch of their wonderful new luxury hotel reservation site, WantMeGetMe.com, a perfect option for travelers wanting VIP perks at four and five star hotels around the world.
With an advisory board including tech leaders such as Dave Morin (founder of Path), Brit Morin, Jason Stirman, Kellie Pelletier, and others, the company is re-thinking how we book hotels. They’ve created a platform that has some of the world’s best boutique and luxury hotels competing for bookings based on how well they are willing to treat their guests with complimentary perks, amenities and VIP status.

Hotels featured on the site are currently in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and London, but the company will soon roll-out hotels in other top cities and destinations around the world.
Guests who book their rooms on WantMeGetMe are automatically included on the general manager’s VIP list, receive free wi-fi, and get a room upgrade if available. There are a variety of other free perks and amenities to chose from when they make their reservation.
“The tech savvy millennial generation, the 25 to 45 year olds with iPads, want an upgraded experience,” Mace explained. “And so when they stay at a luxury or boutique hotel, which is the only hotels we have in our curated selection, they want that VIP treatment.”
To celebrate the company’s launch, an intimate dinner was held at the charming Billiards Room at Tyler Florence’s Wayfare Tavern. Among those invited were supporters Dave Morin and Brit Morin, Evan Williams and Jason Stirman of Obvious, Anamitra Banerji of Foundation Capital, Alastair Goldfisher of Reuters, Hooman Khalili, Timothy Williamson (from tdwmedia.com, who took the photos), and others.
The passion that co-founders Tristan Mace and Melanie Brandman showed for travel and technology was so intense that we couldn’t wait to rush home and book a room on their site!
