We are thrilled to see that Sotheby’s is arranging an online auction of handcrafted jewelry by legendary designer Tony Duquette, to take place between August 18th and 30th, 2016.
Tony Duquette, the well celebrated name behind Elizabeth Arden’s spectacular Hawaiian penthouse and many celebrity mansions in Beverly Hills, extended his talent for interior design to art, architecture, and jewelry. He was the first American artist to host a single-artist show at the Louvre museum in Paris.
Sotheby’s has arranged 32 of his jewelry pieces for this special two-week long online auction as a tribute to Duquette.
