“A young married couple’s quiet getaway in Napa Valley at the wife’s parents house takes an unexpected turn when one of their siblings arrives to film a soft-porn film.”

No, that’s not a SFluxe Blind Item, it’s the plot outline for one of producer Todd Traina‘s upcoming movies.

Expected to be released in 2009, “The Woody,” was written by Traina along with Frank Dietz. It has been described as a “naughty screwball comedy” and takes place in the “grand Napa Valley estate” of the bride’s stuffy parents. (And no, there’s no reason to believe there’s anything even slightly autobiographical about the story. How dare you ask!)

As for his other projects (he’s working on several), Variety just reported that he’s going to produce George Hickenlooper‘s next movie, a spy thriller titled “Morning Spy, Evening Spy.” It’s based on Colin MacKinnon‘s novel of the same name.

The spy flick may turn out to be Traina’s biggest movie yet (“Punk’s Not Dead” is his most recent.) The storyline involves an aging CIA officer who is assigned to the Middle East in the days preceding the 9/11 terrorist attacks. No stars have been attached yet, but you know George Clooney, Sean Penn and Robert De Niro are on the top of their wish list.
