Tiffany & Co. contributed to the glamour of this year’s Academy Awards with jewels from the 2016 Blue Book collection, worn on the red carpet so beautifully by Cate Blanchett (in a seafoam green Armani Prive gown.)
And on May 12th, Tiffany glamour will shine again — this time in San Francisco, with the jeweler’s sponsorship of The Modern Ball, SFMOMA’s signature fundraising gala.

The Tiffany store at Union Square recently hosted a cocktail party in anticipation of the event, attended by museum trustees and other supporters, as well as The Modern Ball’s chairs Gina Peterson, Abigail Turin, Heidi Castelein, Douglas Durkin, Alka Agrawal, Sabrina Buell, Patrick Chammas and Anderson Pugash.
It was a great opportunity for guests to select jewels for the upcoming gala (we’ll keep an eye out for Cate’s dazzling starfish cuff made of platinum and diamonds)!

Patrick Chammas, who is co-chairing the night’s Post Modern Party, proudly announced that Odesza, fresh from their world tour, will be the headline act.
“Odesza has sold out Bill Graham Civic Center two nights in a row, has been the headline at Coachella in 2015, and is going to be headlining all the summer festivals this year,” he said.

With sponsorship from Tiffany, Cadillac, Wells Fargo and AT&T, this year’s soiree will be the most exciting yet, especially as it will provide a sneak peek at the new museum before its May 14th, opening date!
