We’re delighted to see 10 notable Bay Area philanthropists named in “Town & Country” Magazine’s ranking of the “50 Top Philanthropists” in the United States.

Laurene Powell Jobs is honored for founding College Track, which helps make college attainable for the poor, and for founding the Emerson Collective, which gives grants to social reform entrepreneurs.

Dustin Moskovitz and Cari Tuna are praised for their work in bringing transparency to the philanthropic world, with the creation of Good Ventures, as well as GiveWell, which evaluates charities.

Trevor Traina is singled out for his innovative new project, IfOnly.com, which raises money for charities through the sale of one-of-a-kind experiences.
