We recently attended the party that Dorothy and Ken Paige hosted at Millennium Tower for the stunning new high-rises’s design showcase, “Icons Of Design.”
The Paiges, owners of Paige Glass, organized the showcase of the four grand condominiums that compose the 10,000-square-foot 52nd floor of the Millennium Tower as a way to promote the building, San Francisco’s leading interior designers, and five charities. Ken Paige asked 30 decorators, all friends of his, to each do a room. Design firms include Orlando Diaz-Azcuy, Ann Getty & Associates, De Sousa Hughes and Martha Angus Inc.
The showcase is open to the public on five consecutive weekends through November 22, 2009. Located at 301 Mission Street, the showcase hours are Saturdays 11AM – 7PM and Sundays 11AM – 5PM.
Tickets may be purchased at the door for $25, with and all proceeds benefiting Bay Area charities, including San Francisco Opera Guild, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Greater Bay Area Chapter, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, American Heart Association and the Museum of Performance & Design.
