The New Titans of Tech

Details Magazine recently ran a special online feature about the “new titans of tech” which was interesting to read – but a hassle (you can only see it on Facebook, then you have to go full-screen, etc.)
So we’ve gone through and highlighted some of the more interesting figures. They are mostly based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with the exception of two in New York.

Nathan Blecharczyk (28), Joe Gebbia (29) and Brian Chesky (29) are co-founders of Airbnb, based in San Francisco, with a valuation of $1.3 billion.

Charlie Cheever (30) is co-founder of Quora, based in Palo Alto, with a $1 billion valuation.

Mike McCue (44) is co-founder of Flipboard, based in Palo Alto, with a $200 million valuation.
Dennis Crowley (34) is co-founder of Foursquare, based in New York, with a $600 million valuation.

Joshua Kushner (26) is co-founder of Vostu, Kickstarter and Art.sy (with investment from Jack Dorsey, Eric Schmidt, Wendi Deng Murdoch, and Dasha Zhukova)
