Hosted by Dede Wilsey, president of the board of trustees of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, the event celebrated the jeweler’s first-ever museum retrospective, featuring approximately 150 pieces created by the renowned Italian jeweler over four decades.
The exhibit includes pieces from the Elizabeth Taylor collection, along with Bulgari heritage pieces, and treasures from the private collections of Jennifer Tilly, Dede Wilsey and Denise Hale.
The exhibition, made possible in part due to museum donors Carl and Yurie Pascarella, Mrs. George Hopper Fitch, Dr. Alan R. Malouf, Jeri Dexter and Wells Fargo, will be on display at the de Young Museum through February 17, 2014.
