It was a return to the era of peace and love when the San Francisco healthcare nonprofit HealthRIGHT 360 recently held its second annual Black Tie and Tie Dye gala. The gala raised funds to provide primary medical care, substance use disorder treatment and mental health services to some of the City’s most vulnerable populations, including homeless individuals and any uninsured or underinsured adults in need of treatment.
The theme of the evening drew inspiration from the era in the 1960s that helped make San Francisco famous, and also created Haight Ashbury Free Clinics and Walden House, two organizations that merged to create HealthRIGHT 360 in 2011. A feeling of fun and philanthropy filled the Imperial Floor at the top of the Westin St. Francis as guests participated in both a silent auction and live auction, then got down on the dance floor to the groovy sounds of the 60’s.
Guests and supporters included Anette Harris and Marc Loupe, Kathy Holmes and Bill Gilmore, Hon. Ellen Chaitin and V. Roy Lefcourt, Dianne and Ben Fong-Torres, and San Francisco’s own Foodie Chap.
