As the first major gala of the year (it was at full capacity with 3,400 guests!), the San Francisco Ballet’s Infinite Romance was a night not just of beautiful movement on stage, but of some striking fashion off stage. Here are some moments we particularly enjoyed from the gala.
At the gala opening of the Asian Art Museum’s Phantoms of Asia exhibit, chairs Komal Shah and Eliza Cash welcomed museum board members, major donors, civic, corporate and social leaders, artists featured in the exhibition, and art enthusiasts from around the world to one of the season’s most important events.
On January 20th, the San Francisco Ballet Auxiliary hosted Silver Celebration honoring Helgi Tomasson’s 25 years as Artistic Director, and launching SF Ballet’s 2010 season.
