The locally based company donates a “hiip Kit†of toiletries to various shelters in San Francisco everytime a hiip bag is purchased. The event was held at Alibi Restaurant and Lounge with fashionistas and philanthropists from around the city in attendance. Guests enjoyed “hiip-tini†cocktails and bites while browsing the showroom display of hiip bags.
The various styles fall into four designs: Sunset, Marina, Mission and Pac Heights with the patterns emulating the lifestyles of each area. The founder, Nicole Flowers was on hand to help guests style their bags that can be worn as a regular purse, across the body or on the “hiip.â€
Nicole spoke to the guests about her inspiration for the hiip collection that is designed, manufactured and benefits the San Francisco community.
Sponsored by Testa Vineyards, the event brought together San Francisco tastemakers such as Jack Calhoun, Stephen Brady, Gary Friedman, Joy Bianchi, Anna Weinberg, Ken Fulk, and Jamie Finegold, among others.
The exhibit will run at Coup d’Etat until May 2013.
