Salvatore Ferragamo co-hosted this years Mid Winter Gala in San Francisco, with Trevor Traina, Vanessa Getty, Kathryn Lasater, and Allison Speer. Guests included Marissa Mayer, Jonathan Ive, Dita von Teese, Balthazar Getty, Camilla Belle, Jessica Hart, Derek Blasberg, John Gidding, Lauren Remington Platt, Liz Goldwyn, Libby Leffler, Douglas Friedman, David Sacks, Jacqueline Sacks, Devon Aoki, Gary Friedman, among others.

“Phenomenal” was theme for the 2014 San Francisco Ballet’s Opening Night Gala, but also describes the looks put together by gala guests.
With gala chair Tanya Powell starting the evening in an elegant Vera Wang ball gown and ending in a short runway-worthy Dolce & Gabbana, there was a full gamut of looks.
One saw understated elegance with Yurie Pascarella in Andrew Gn and Mary Beth Shimmon in Chanel; a full flowering of colors, shapes and textures from Deepa Pakianathan, Paula Carano, Sonya Molodetskaya, Elizabeth Fullerton and Komal Shah; and striking black dresses on Karen Caldwell, Azadeh Riaz, Stephanie Southerland, Stephanie Ejabat, and SF Ballet’s Principal Dancer Mathilde Froustey.

The Mid Winter Gala for 2013 honored the exhibit, “Girl with a Pearl Earring: Dutch Paintings from the Mauritshuis” with a chic winter wonderland that raised over $400k. Marissa Mayer, Jonathan Ive, Alison Pincus, Vanessa Getty, Dick Costolo, Stephan Jenkins, Connie Nielsen, Lori Levine, Evgenia Peretz, Jeremy Stoppelman, Trevor Traina, Allison Speer and Kathryn Lasater were among the 380 who attended.
