As the first major gala of the year (it was at full capacity with 3,400 guests!), the San Francisco Ballet’s Infinite Romance was a night not just of beautiful movement on stage, but of some striking fashion off stage. Here are some moments we particularly enjoyed from the gala.

The Mid Winter Gala for 2013 honored the exhibit, “Girl with a Pearl Earring: Dutch Paintings from the Mauritshuis” with a chic winter wonderland that raised over $400k. Marissa Mayer, Jonathan Ive, Alison Pincus, Vanessa Getty, Dick Costolo, Stephan Jenkins, Connie Nielsen, Lori Levine, Evgenia Peretz, Jeremy Stoppelman, Trevor Traina, Allison Speer and Kathryn Lasater were among the 380 who attended.
The day before its national release, San Francisco fashion lovers were treated to private screening of “The September Issue,” thanks to Vanessa Getty, who filled the Kabuki with an enthusiastic audience.
