Who caught our eye for their sense of style this week? We begin with Lora DuBain, who went to the opening party of Crystal Jade channeling 1970s Bianca Jagger in a sexy white suit tailored to scintillating perfection.

Next, Julia Hengel of GalMeetsGlam.com, and her sister, Lauren Taylor, were lovely in shades of blush pink when they attended a showing of Lauren’s illustrations at Shabby Chic in San Francisco.

On Sunday, George Hamilton was the definition of dapper at the Metropolis of San Francisco Gala honoring George and Judy Marcus. No one wears a tux as well as Hamilton. Nancy Pelosi seemed charmed!

We were delighted to spot Vanessa Getty looking beautiful in Burberry when she greeted the brand’s CEO, Christopher Bailey, at Burberry’s stunning Post Street store.

The next night, local fashion designer Karen Caldwell showed why she’s one of the top choices for eveningwear in San Francisco. Isn’t she just so elegant?

Langsley Fox Hemingway dropped by Hedge Gallery on Wednesday to celebrate the upcoming launch of the new Rebecca Minkoff boutique at 2124 Fillmore, wearing pieces from the designer’s collection. The artist, who models in Minkoff’s fall campaign is Ernest Hemingway’s great-granddaughter.

And finally, our Instagram feed was bursting with photos of Diane von Furstenberg, here to give interviews on stage at Stanford University, sponsored by the “Stanford Women in Business,” and later with Carolyne Zinko at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco.

Here to promote her new book, “The Woman I Wanted To Be,” von Furstenberg was welcomed to San Francisco with an intimate dinner at the home of Trevor and Alexis Traina the previous evening, where they surprised her with two cakes decorated as replicas of her books. So sweet!
