Located in the first 21-stories of the multi-billion dollar Oceanwide Center, to be built at First and Mission, it will be the third Waldorf Astoria will open in California, joining Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills and La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, with rumors of a Napa outpost under consideration.
“We are thrilled to accept this extraordinary opportunity to extend our unforgettable experiences, the finest amenities, and True Waldorf Service up the West Coast,” said the global head of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts John T.A. Vanderslice.
The renowned hotel will be the focus in the luxury building (taking up 2 million square feet) that will likely also showcase retail, office, and entertainment spaces.
