Saks Fifth Avenue and The League to Save Lake Tahoe recently presented its annual luncheon and fashion show featuring the Oscar de la Renta Resort Collection.
Now in its 46th year, the tradition dates back to the late sixties when designer Bill Blass started showing his collection to a few loyal clients and friends at Lake Tahoe. Since then, it has evolved into a widely anticipated fundraising event for the League to Save Lake Tahoe.
This was Peter Copping’s inaugural year attending the fashion show and as Creative Director of Oscar de la Renta. This year’s event was held at the Schumacher Family estate on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. A sold-out event welcomed over 600 guests and made a record-breaking amount for The League collecting over $860,000.
