Penn Home on Market

As reported by the Wall Street Journal, the home of Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn has been put on the market for $15 million.

The Penns bought the 2.2-acre property, located at 7 Laurel Grove Avenue in Ross, for $2.1 million. They spent two years renovating the 1933, the Spanish-style house, according to their Coldwell Banker broker John McGeough.

The Journal says that “The 10,000-square-foot house was designed with hand-hewn wood-beamed ceilings and floors, stone fireplaces and hand-painted tiles in the bathrooms and kitchen. The two-story home has five bedrooms, a home office, an au pair suite, a gym and a three-car garage. A two-bedroom guest cottage has its own two-car garage. There’s also a pool, tennis court, gardens and dog run.”

The kitchen has limestone countertops, a butcher-block island and a hand-painted tile floor.

A rock wall borders a redwood grove.

The home gym has an attached sauna, steam room and shower.
