The “Our World, Your Home” event provided a fantastic opportunity to view all of Ligne Roset’s offerings, and also gave guests a chance to learn more about The American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter, which received a portion of the evening’s sale proceeds.
Engel & Volkers, Europe’s leading luxury real estate company, has just opened its first office in San Francisco (199 New Montgomery), and is already getting a great reputation for its boutique-like, professional service, with a focus on the kind of reliability and discretion the company is known for in Europe.
Someone recently remarked to us that they’re “like the Bulgari of real estate”, and as we love our Bulgari, you know we were sold!
The lovely music by Clarisse Lee and Hanna Friedlander brought the evening to life and was perfectly suited to the surroundings – beautiful furnishings and beautiful art in a celebration of San Francisco’s most beautiful homes.
As guests left, they received a gift bag fromEngel & Volkers, which included the latest issue of their magazine “Global Guide,” featuring exclusive profiles on artistFernando Botero, fashion designer Pierre Cardin, architect Bjarke Ingels, Porsche head designer Michael Mauer, and author Joana Schliemann.
Of course, it also features some of the most glorious real estate in the world: a gorgeous Majorcan estate, a German mansion built at the behest of King Wilhelm I of Wurttemberg, an Alpine chalet, and several California and Florida homes (all sold by Engel & Volkers, naturally.)
The event was beautifully catered by Jane Hammond Events, and drinks sponsored by Caffe Pascucci, the Italian shop which opened its first US location at 170 King Street. With support for the event also provided by the French American Chamber of Commerce, it was truly an international evening!
