This September some of the world’s wealthiest individuals are expected to arrive in San Francisco for an unprecedented event that will expose them to the finest luxuries the area provides.
They will be coming to take part in an exclusive six-day event, hosted by Olivia Hsu Decker, one of the leading luxury Realtors in the area.
As a frequent host to international business leaders and celebrities at her famous Paris chateau – Chateau de Villette – where “The Da Vinci Code” movie was filmed, Olivia is no stranger to luxurious grand scale events. In 2002, when she chaired the San Francisco Opera Ball, it was one of the truly memorable evenings of the social season.
Co-owner of Decker Bullock Sotheby’s International Realty, Olivia Hsu Decker got the idea for this ambitious event after a buyer backed out of a record-breaking $65 million sale of one of her listings in Belvedere, California, where her company is based.
The event is designed to introduce potential home buyers to the sophisticated lifestyle of the San Francisco Bay Area, with visits to the Symphony, the Opera, Silicon Valley, picturesque Marin County, and the world famous California Wine Country.
“I don’t think anybody has done this before — 6 days of luxury events that also includes both the Opening Night of the San Francisco Symphony and the San Francisco Opera,” said Olivia.
Invitations for the $3,300 per person event were sent to 5,000 UHNWIs (Ultra High Net Worth Individuals) locally, nationally and internationally to attend the Opening Night festivities and gala dinners.
They will also get to tour approximately 30 of the areas finest residences, from Silicon Valley to San Francisco, north to Marin County and extending up to the Napa Valley.
Some noteworthy homes that will be visited by interested buyers include:
• Stonebrook Court, a $45 million English Tudor style mega mansion in the Los Altos Hills (see photos here)
• A $28 million, 109 acres French Country estate in Napa Valley
• A $14.8 million mansion in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights (see photos here)
• Locksley Hall, the stunning $65 million Belvedere mansion which is finally on the market again (see photos here)
There will be many other luxury homes from $4 million to $10 million for consideration.
Dinner receptions will be provided at beautiful mansions and estates, with lodging at Meadowood in Napa, the newly opened 5-star hotel Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito, and the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco.
Sponsors include AIG Private Client Group, Bentley San Francisco, First Republic Bank, The Golden Anchor, NorthStar Risk Management, Old Republic Title Company and M, The Marketplace for Superlative Residences.
“Just consider it — the fun shopping trip, plus Opening Night of the Symphony gala, dinner at City Hall Rotunda, the Opera Ball, and ample time to mingle with other big wallet shoppers,” Olivia says.
If you are NOT a cash buyer, no worries, sponsor First Republic Bank is providing mortgage financing.
