We are eagerly awaiting the opening of the “Icons of Design” showcase at Millennium Tower (on the 52nd floor), open to the public on five consecutive weekends, from October 24 through November 22, 2009.
In keeping with the design standards of the extraordinary new high-rise, the Millennium has selected over 25 of the Bay Area’s most prestigious designers to present their vision of the luxury condos.
Located at 301 Mission Street, the showcase hours are Saturdays 11AM – 7PM and Sundays 11AM – 5PM.
Tickets may be purchased at the door for $25, with and all proceeds benefiting Bay Area charities, including San Francisco Opera Guild, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Greater Bay Area Chapter, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, American Heart Association and the Museum of Performance & Design.
We were given a sneak preview of one of the rooms, the dining room in residence 52D.
Designed by Richard W. Bohonsky of Martin Richards Interiors, it features Bobo Intriguing Objects pendant fixtures (custom fitted by Martin Richards); Hsiao Hui Liu photographic art; Daniel Tousignant gold tree paintings; William Switzer S.F. acrylic console, side table, obelisks Queen Anne mirror, and Palazzo arm chair; Martin Richards giant antique clam shell, rock crystal, dining table and chairs; and painting by Mc Clorey.
