Oh what a time to be without a camera.
Today at Neiman-Marcus I spotted Karen Caldwell stalking the racks, eagle-eyed as she swooped down on one designer item after another in search of the perfect thing to wear. I was impressed by how serious a shopper she was, but more so by how fabulous she looked, prompting your SFluxe editor to declare:
“Karen Caldwell is the chicest woman in San Francisco today!”
Wearing a printed silk tank top tunic over black pants, with a white sweater draped around her hips, carrying a simple Vuitton bag and wearing black high heels, she was totally casual and yet was so pulled together and so… regal, that she seemed on her way to a gala event. She made casual look like couture!
Was Mrs. Caldwell a dancer earlier in life, one wonders? She has the most fantastic posture — and as you know, true elegance starts in the way one maintains the spine.
