We must admit to feeling slightly inadequate in the presence of Juliet Flint de Baubigny, but who wouldn’t? She is super successful in business, seems to have an exciting life, is loved by family and many friends, and possesses an innate sense of style that always gives her a polished, sophisticated look no matter what she wears, and not surprisingly she wears only the best.

Recently even Gwyneth Paltrow (no slouch in the perfection department herself) called upon Juliet to find out how she does what she does!

In Gwyneth’s latest GOOP Newsletter, we are given a fascinating glimpse into her average day.

As a Partner with venture capitalist firm Kleiner Perkins, Caufield & Byers, and one of the few women at the top of that particular field, she inhabits the worlds of Silicon Valley tech, international finance, and San Francisco cultural and charitable institutions with absolute ease. The article gives a lot of helpful little tips and advice for other rushed moms who want to be and do their best each day as well.

Among her most popular advice is to use the services of V. Wallett Luburich, whom we’ve heard has been receiving inquiries from around the country since the GOOP newsletter came out. “I was given an amazing present of a makeup lesson with Wallet Lubrich,” says Juliet. “She taught me how to do my daily makeup in 5 minutes. No joke, I can dress, do my make up and be out the door in 15 minutes.”

Other helpful advice involves organizational tips – different uses of spreadsheets, lists, calendars and binders for time management and household tasks. I suppose we all know that we could and should be that organized… it’s great to see someone who actually does all of that, and that it works!

Among her shopping recommendations is one of our favorite destinations as well – One Kings Lane. “I love One Kings Lane so much that I got Kleiner Perkins, Caulfield & Byers to invest in it,” she says. “It’s my main stop for beautiful products for the home and have my wish list throughout the year that I can stockpile.”

Were she based in New York, Juliet would likely be on the Vanity Fair Best Dressed List and featured regularly in national media. San Francisco is a little world of its own sometimes, so it’s great to see that Gwyneth has put her spotlight on one of the City’s most outstanding business and cultural leaders.
