A highlight of the holiday season in San Francisco is the annual “Jingle & Mingle Designer Wreath Auction” which features wreaths from some of the West Coast’s top designers.
Proceeds from the fundraiser benefits “Children of Shelters,” a nonprofit organization that provides support and education for children living in or being served by the homeless shelter system. Founded in 1995 Lois Pavlow and Summer Tompkins Walker, Children of Shelters serves over 400 children in annually by providing cultural activities, educational support, in-shelter tutoring and tuition assistance.
This year’s event was co-chaired by Maryam Muduroglu, Kate Sheridan Chung, Jessica Kaludis, Stephanie Plexico, and Jenny Stegall, who brought together a wide range of sponsors, as well as 50 designers, to create an evening of holiday cheer, inspiration, and (most importantly) community support for the City’s most vulnerable.
