Help Is On The Way

“Help is on the Way” is Northern California’s largest annual AIDS benefit concert. It’s an elegant evening of fun designed to raise funds for Bay Area AIDS service provider agencies.

This year the Summer gala takes place August 15, 2010 at the Herbst Theatre, and by the performers scheduled to attend (including the legendary Carol Channing) it will clearly be an entertaining night.

Visit the Richmond/Ermet Aids Foundation at richmondermet.org for further information, or to buy tickets.

The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established to raise funds for AIDS service provider agencies through the production of quality entertainment events. Born from the grass-roots efforts of two mothers, Barbara Richmond and the late Peggy Ermet, who lost their only sons to AIDS as a way to honor their sons’ memories and to help alleviate the suffering of many of the other sons and daughters living with HIV and AIDS, the Foundation has become one of the leading sources of funding for many local AIDS service providers.

Damion Matthews is the founder and editor of SFLUXE, and has also contributed to Town & Country, 7x7, Salon, Dutch and other national publications.
