Let’s face it, sweeties, SFLuxe doesn’t do rap or hip-hop, parties past 10:00, or anything involving DJ’s and kids born before “Private Dancer” hit the airwaves (we still remember 8-tracks, okay!)
But we’re definitely making an exception this one time for an upcoming Halloween party called “Rock The Belle.” It supports a cause we believe in (the Breast Cancer Fund) and, well, it looks like a lot of fun!
On October 31, 2008, brothers Trevor Jamison Johnston and Justin Blaine Johnston (shown above) will be throwing the largest Halloween Concert Bash in San Francisco to date, with a major no-expense-spared production on The San Francisco Belle (the largest passenger yacht on the West Coast.)
The party will feature 3 floors of live entertainment, fully stocked premium bars, a costume contest and a spectacular cruise of the San Francisco Bay.
The entertainment lineup includes: platinum artist Sean Kingston; celebrity DJ Clinton Sparks; local superstar Chris Clouse; rap sensation Lil Jordan; Bay Area favorite Diamond Dave; and Northern California’s Conscious Souls.
“Rock the Belle” will be the first exclusive event hosted by Justin and Trevor through their new company, Jamison Blaine Enterprises. With 1800 people in attendance, it’s quite an ambitious kick-off to a brand that some say will become a San Francisco institution in fashion, entertainment and global concierge services.
With this launch, they chose to honor both their late grandfather, Robert Johnston, and Breast Cancer Awareness Month by giving a percentage of the proceeds to The Breast Cancer Fund (the plan to raise up to $30,000 for the cause!)
“Giving back to the community is something that every person, young and old, should incorporate in their day to day lives,” says Trevor Johnston.
“As young entrepreneurs, we want to make sure that we set the bar high for our friends and colleagues. If we can show our dedication to the community through donating the proceeds from our events to beneficiaries like The Breast Cancer Fund, then we have done our job by showing young people that giving back is where its at,” says Justin Johnston.
“Especially in tough economic times like these, we want to show all people that donating to a cause can be as simple as buying a ticket or donating a couple of dollars at the grocery store,” he says.
The party begins at 10:00 pm on Pier 3 in San Francisco and the boat will depart the dock at approximately 10:45 pm. At 12:30 pm, the San Francisco Belle will return to the dock, but the party will continue to rock on till 2 am.
