Guillaume Henry, the new rising star of French fashion responsible for reviving the Parisian house of Carven, recently made a one-day stop in San Francisco at Barney’s to show his latest collection and meet some of his best customers.
His three-hour appearance at the store had a fantastic turnout, with women like Paula Carano, OJ Shansby, and Bita Daryabari buying his best dresses and separates.
Many of the shoppers had been invited by Vanessa Getty, a longtime supporter of animal care organizations. As 10% of the proceeds from sales went to The Peninsula Humane Society, it was the perfect fusion of fashion, fun and philanthropy!
Guillaume Henry had little time to explore San Francisco during his visit, but he was able to take in some of the scenery and was impressed. “I love San Francisco, the architecture, the beauty and the people,” he told us.
And by the reception he received, San Francisco loves him!
