Gucci recently presented the new Equestrian Collection, part of the Cruise 2013 collection, at a private luncheon in the San Francisco store, hosted by Sloan Barnett.

Creative Director Frida Giannini designed the complete capsule collection for women as an evolution from the wardrobe she created exclusively for Edwina Alexander, currently the world’s number one female horse-jumper, who is sponsored by Gucci.

The line is part of the Cruise 2013 collection, and features 15 styles, completed by a refined and well-coordinated selection of accessories. Wonderful black riding boots, a black velvet riding cap and whip, gorgeous black nappa gloves, a handcrafted saddle, and a silk foulard illustrated with whip motifs are some highlights.

As Gucci and Mr. and Mrs. Barnett, supported the Giant Steps Charity Classic at the Sonoma Horse Park this year, 10 percent of the sales proceeds from the items sold at the luncheon were donated to Giant Steps.
