Designer Geoffrey Young recently made a personal appearance at Carrot’s in San Francisco’s Jackson Square to launch his new collection of jewelry, with 10% of the nights proceeds going to the non-profit, Spark, founded by Kathleen Kelly.
Formerly based in New York (he moved to Mill Valley in 2008 with his wife, Maya Bose), he has been designing belts and handbags for over 10 years.
His new line of jewelry which consists of semi-precious rings and sexy necklaces made of pearls and oxidized sterling silver chains.
With the youthful, independent energy of the collection, it is not surprising that Geoffrey Young has a strong following in entertainment. Musicians such as Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, Bono and Bruce Springsteen have all been seen wearing his pieces, and Sienna Miller recently purchased something for Jude Law.
Although New York and Los Angeles have been Geoffrey’s primary markets, he is about to create a much greater impact in San Francisco and the Bay Area with his presence in super-hip Carrots.
