The San Francisco Conservatory of Music recently celebrated the 11th annual Fanfare Luncheon. The event is held to thank members of the Conservatory Society for donations to its collegiate and pre-collegiate programs.
This year’s guest of honor was noted violinist Amy Schwartz Moretti, a graduate of the Conservatory’s Pre-College Division, and former concertmaster of The Florida Orchestra and the Oregon Symphony and Director of the McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer University in Georgia.
On March 27, 2014, the Conservatory unveils a bold vision for the future of SFCM with a “Presidential Evening,” an exclusive event featuring the New Century Chamber Orchestra and cross-over bluegrass band the Punch Brothers.
