A Private Showing of de Grisogono at Battery

To show their support for the arts in San Francisco, de Grisogono, the luxury jeweler headquartered in Geneva, recently hosted a cocktail party at Battery’s stunning penthouse in honor of Dede Wilsey and the Fine Arts Museums.
Guests at the event were given a special preview of some of de Grisogono’s newest and most unique pieces, displayed in rotating glass cases which highlighted the jewelry’s beautiful sparkle with every turn.
This is the sixth year de Grisogono representatives have been traveling to San Francisco to show the collection to special clients, but it’s a practice they’re now expanding to other cities, such as Dallas, Miami and Chicago, within a new division pertaining to private sales. Giovanni Mattera, the company’s Brand Ambassador in the United States, told me it’s a wonderful opportunity for clients to access special items.
“We have some pieces, like an emerald and diamond set, that just came out two weeks ago, and we’ve brought it here. There are some really unique pieces,” he said. “People that buy this kind of jewelry will buy from us because it’s one of a kind. But you have to sell it in a certain way.”
And what better way to buy jewelry than while sipping champagne in Battery’s beautiful penthouse on a clear San Francisco evening!
