After Fawaz Gruosi founded the ultraluxe jewelry design company of de Grisogono in Geneva in 1993 he soon brought the rare black diamond into popularity, forging his reputation for creating exquisite and unique objects that brought luxury to a daring new level.
There are now 17 de Grisogono boutiques worldwide, in truly the best locations for luxury spending: Bond Street in London, Rue St-Honore in Paris, Geneva, Gstaad, Saint Moritz, Porto Cervo, Rome, Moscow, Dubai, Hong Kong, New York, and so on.
Alas, there are very few places in California to find the de Grisogono collection (try Shapur Mozaffarian in SF, or Lussori in Carmel), so it is exciting that they are having a private trunk show in San Francisco from October 5th to October 8th, 2010, at The Taj Campton Place Hotel.
Even if you aren’t familiar with the designs, you actually have probably seen them on celebrities such as Kristin Scott Thomas, Naomi Campbell, Eva Longoria, Ornella Muti or Ivana Trump. When founder Fawaz Gruosi recently celebrated his birthday in Porto Servo, the party was attended by Leonardo Di Caprio, Janet Jackson, Goga Ashkenazi, Vladimir Doronin and Naomi Campbell, Kevin Spacey, Dean and Dan Caten, and 350 other VIPS.
