One of Charleston Pierce’s favorite quotations is “All things are possible, but you got to make it happen!”
As the founder of Charleston Pierce Presents, launched in 2007 as a series of fashion, music and entertainment events that focus on promoting local fashion designers, supporting charities and breathing new life into the San Francisco fashion scene, Charleston has lived what he preaches — he “makes it happen.”
But what those who know Charleston know well, is he does it all with grace, charm and true panache.
Whether it’s his work with Macy’s Passport, the Junior League of San Francisco’s annual fashion show fundraiser, or just the way he carries himself through a normal day of business, I am constantly impressed by the goodwill he brings to those around him. He’s a genuinely positive person. Perhaps that’s one reason he was nominated in 2008 as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year.
We hope that, in honor of this important figure in San Francisco fashion, you will attend the August 27th, 2009 birthday party that Charleston’s company is throwing as a fundraiser for Kids on the Move!
This fun party, called the “Candy Cotton Club” is a fashion show and cabaret, where guests are asked to come dressed in their best 20’s style! A perfect chance to “do the Charleston” with THE Charleston!
