Bottega Veneta’s Party for California Pacific Medical Center

In anticipation for the 2011 Wishes for Wellness event benefiting women and children’s services at California Pacific Medical Center, CPMC supporters Sloan Barnett, Carol Bonnie, and Alison Pincus co-hosted an elegant cocktail party at the gorgeous new Bottega Veneta store in San Francisco to raise further awareness for the important fundraiser.
Co-chaired by Sloan Barnett, Sharmin Bock, Carol Bonnie, and Chris Lenzo, Wishes for Wellness 2011 may exceed the nearly $500,000 it raised in 2009, money which helps takes care of a list of funding needs at CPMC.

To show their support, Bottega Veneta donated 10% of all sales at the new Geary Street store in San Francisco for a week in October, including the night of the cocktail party. The event brought out some of San Francisco’s best dressed women, many of whom were seen wearing pieces from the current Bottega Veneta collection.

The store, designed in-house under the direction of Tomas Maier, is the perfect environment for the collection, with the attention to quality and luxury that one always experiences when wearing Bottega Veneta.

For at least one guest at the event, it was a very special party because she loves wearing Bottega Veneta, and also holds a special place in her heart for CPMC, as they expertly tended to her newborn during an emergency, saving the baby’s life. But of course her experience is not unique in San Francisco – the CPMC Women & Children’s Center manages more than half the births and one-third of all the hospitalizations in the City.
