Even for a region that has pushed all the boundaries of what’s possible in architecture, the newest building proposal for Dubai is truly out of this world!
The Crescent Moon Tower is currently awaiting official approval, but once complete, will surely be one of the most interesting buildings in the world.
Envisioned by the American company, Transparent House, the building is proposed to be erected in Za’abeel Park in Dubai. The design, a down-turned half-moon, is meant to symbolize the Islamic insignia of a crescent moon. It will feature residences, a library, cafes, conference halls, restaurants, and an open observation platform at the top, and should take five years to construct.
